MITCHELL TAKES TULARE SPRINT

Tulare, CA…….Matt Mitchell of Yorba Linda, Calif. led all 30 laps to win Saturday night’s Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint race at the Thunderbowl Raceway. He became the seventh winner in seven 2009 races as he wheeled his Mancha Realtors/Sierra Water Maxim/Ott to victory over Cory Kruseman, series point leader Blake Miller, Garrett Hansen and David Cardey. Miller was the night’s fastest qualifier and has a four-point lead over Cardey going into a June 13 race at the Santa Maria (Calif.) Speedwaya.
