MITCHELL TAKES PERRIS 30-LAPPER

 


Perris, CA……..Matt Mitchell of Yorba Linda, Calif. won Saturday night’s 30-lap AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint car feature at Perris Auto Speedway, highlighting the opening of the 2010 Southern California Fair. Mitchell got by Danny Sheridan, Cory Kruseman and Mike Spencer when the latter three tangled on lap 19 and Mitchell led the final 12 laps for the win in his J.W. Mitchell Motorsports Maxim/Chevy. Rickie Gaunt, Greg Bragg, Cody Williams and Danny Ebberts rounded out the “top-five” at the checkered flag. Cory Kruseman led the first 15 laps and Sheridan led three before Mitchell went to the front.
