BAKER BRINGS THE BROOM, SWEEPS USAC MWRA WEEKEND AT U.S. 36

Osborn, Missouri (October 1, 2022)………Cody Baker brought out the broom on Saturday night at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo.

The Lone Jack, Mo. racer repeated his victory from the night before in dominant fashion by leading all 25 laps of the USAC Midwest Wingless Racing Association Sprint Car non-points special event as part of the IMCA Missouri Nationals.

It’s been a sterling eight-night stretch for Baker who captured the last three victories of the USAC MWRA season, including the final points race of the year on September 24 at Missouri’s Valley Speedway to go along with back-to-back triumphs this weekend at U.S. 36.

Baker was followed to the line on Saturday night by 2022 USAC MWRA champ Wyatt Burks (Topeka, Kan.), Ty Hulsey (Collinsville, Okla.) and Brad Wyatt (Kearney, Mo.) with Dakota Earls (Independence, Mo.) rounding out the top-five.
