BAKER COOKS UP A VICTORY AT U.S. 36

Osborn, Missouri (September 30, 2022)………Just like clockwork, Cody Baker is back in victory lane with the USAC Wholesale Batteries Midwest Wingless Racing Association Sprint Cars.

This time, it was in Friday night’s IMCA Missouri Nationals at Osborn, Missouri’s U.S. 36 Raceway, a non-points special event for MWRA.

One week ago, during the final points race of the season at Missouri’s Valley Speedway, Wyatt Burks (Topeka, Kan.) led the first 23 laps before Baker passed him by for the victory.

On Friday night, Baker jumped ahead of Burks on the seventh lap en route to victory in the 20-lap main event.  Ty Hulsey (Collinsville, Okla.) took second, Burks third, Brad Wyatt (Kearney, Mo.) fourth and Ben Woods (Newton, Iowa) fifth.
