IMRA HITS SPOON RIVER SATURDAY
Canton, Illinois (June 5, 2019)………Andy Baugh of Mason City, Ill. is two-for-two when it comes to USAC Speed2 IMRA racing at Spoon River Speedway in 2019.
The defending series champ and current point leader aims to make it a trifecta this Saturday night when the series returns to the 3/8-mile dirt oval.
Tyler Roth (Springfield, Ill.) broke the stranglehold Baugh had on the series by winning last weekend at Macon (Ill.) Speedway. Roth is second in the standings, just two markers behind Baugh, who took eighth at Macon.
Saturday at Spoon River, IMRA will be joined by the the Built Ford Tough Midwest Open Wheel Association Sprint Car Series Delivered by Morrow Brothers Ford. Also on the card are UMP Modifieds, UMP Hornets and E-Mods.
Pits open Saturday at 2pm (Central), grandstands open at 5pm, hot laps at 6pm and racing at 7pm.
Adult general admission tickets are $20, youth (10 & Under) are $5 and pit passes are $35 apiece.
