MADERA’S “SMOKEY HANOIAN CLASSIC” SATURDAY

Bryant Dawson leads the USAC HPD Western Midget standings as the series visits Madera (Calif.) Speedway’s “Smokey Hanoian Classic” this Saturday night. Also on the race card are the Honda Western USAC and BCRA Midgets.

Dawson is undefeated so far in 2014 USAC Western HPD pavement racing, having won races at Blythe, Calif. and Lake Havasu City Ariz. He also posted the fastest qualifying time at both events.

Dawson also was the fastest qualifier for both 2013 Madera races but finished second each time behind respective winners Jarid Blondel and Jake Swanson.
