IMRA, DMA, MIDWEST THUNDER MIDGET SERIES ACTIVE SATURDAY; IMRA SUFFERS RAINOUT AT 34 RACEWAY
USAC Midget Series races unfold on three fronts this week in Vermont, Indiana and Illinois.
The 2016 DMA Midget Series debuts at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. Saturday as two-time champion Adam Pierson seeks a record third consecutive series crown.
The Midwest Thunder Midgets return to Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway Saturday where Gage Etgen captured the series opener April 16.
The IMRA Midgets return to Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill. Saturday after rain washed out last Saturday night’s scheduled race at 34 Raceway in Burlington, Iowa. The series will head back to Burlington for a May 14 race. Mitchell Davis, with second and third place finishes in two races so far, leads the series to this Saturday’s Spoon River event.
