SUSSEX'S SUCCESS PUTS HIM ATOP ISW PROSOURCE PASSING MASTER POINTS

Lawrenceburg, Indiana (July 25, 2021)………Stevie Sussex’s run through the alphabet soup Saturday night at Kokomo Speedway has hoisted him to the top of the ProSource Passing Master standings for the 34th annual NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL series.
At the conclusion of Indiana Sprint Week, the driver who advances the most total positions from their starting spots in all prelim and feature events throughout the entirety of ISW will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master. Provisional starters each night are ineligible to receive feature points toward the passing master total.
Sussex (Mesa, Ariz.) picked up two positions in the heat race, went 10th to 1st in the C-Main, 15th to 5th in the semi-feature and 22nd to 19th in the feature. His grand total of 24 passes after night one is 11 more than his closest competition, Chase Jones (Greenwood, Ind.) at 13.
Cole Bodine (Rossville, Ind.) stands third with 11 positions advanced, while Brayden Clark (Tipton, Ind.) is fourth with 10 passes. Brady Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.), Chase Stockon (Fort Branch, Ind.) and Shane Cottle (Kansas, Ill.) round out the top-five with seven apiece.
Robert Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) won the inaugural Indiana Sprint Week ProSource Passing Master award in 2020.
Sunday’s Lawrenceburg USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL event features the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship vying for the $6,000 winner’s share and are joined by the Modifieds.
On Sunday, pits open at 3pm EDT, grandstands open at 5pm, drivers meeting at 5:15pm with hot laps at 6pm and qualifying/racing immediately following.
General admission tickets are $30, kids 7-12 are $7, children 6 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
