Speedway, Indiana (January 5, 2020)………The 2021 Rapid Tire, USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series, Presented by Capitol Renegade schedule is bigger and better than ever with 32 events across the northeast, in five different states.
The series will make three visits to new tracks on the 2021 series trail, which features increased dates at multiple locations for the 2021 season.
All four shows in the state of Delaware and both shows in Virginia will be $300 to start events in order to help teams with the costs associated with a slightly further tow. Both shows at Delaware International (May 8th and September 4th), Both shows at Georgetown (July 23rd, and October 1st), and both shows at Winchester VA, (July 31st and September 11th) will all be under the $300 to start inclusion.
Valley Forge Inc. is again returning as the sponsor for the series Speedweek which will again kick off on July 1st at the Orange County Fair Speedway. The series returns to action the next night at the Big Diamond Speedway on July 2nd, before returning to the New Egypt Speedway on July 3rd. Added to this seasons schedule will be the series’ first ever visit to Action Track USA in Kutztown, PA for the final night of Speedweek on Wednesday July 7th. All events during Speedweek will also pay $300 to start thanks to Valley Forge Inc. and Bill Gallagher.
Special event nights such as Kids night, and our annual series Pit Party, will again return in 2021 with Kids Night being June 4th at the Williams Grove Speedway, and the Pit Party being September 4th at the Delaware International Speedway.
Three new tracks will be on the series schedule, the first of which being the all-new Bloomsburg Fair Speedway where the series will see action alongside two different midget series. The first stop being on May 29th with ARDC, then again with the USAC National Midgets on August 6th. The series makes their debut alongside the 600cc micro sprints at Action Track USA on July 7th, leaving many series drivers with a great double duty opportunity.
The final new track will be the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex on October 17th. This will be a big weekend for the series as it will be the second of a two-day swing in Southwestern PA. The weekend will kick off with a special Saturday show on October 16th at the Bedford Speedway, before heading to Roaring Knob on Sunday. Both shows will be special events paying $2,000 to win, and $300 to start!!
Other highlights include five shows at the Bridgeport Speedway, three dates at the Selinsgrove Speedway, including a special double header on June 17th with the USAC National Sprint Cars, a return visit to the Lincoln Speedway, along with two shows at both Williams Grove, and Port Royal in central PA.
