CORN BELT NATIONALS POINT STANDINGS
Knoxville, Iowa (July 10, 2020)………By virtue of his Friday night victory during the opener of the 2nd annual Brandt Corn Belt Nationals at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway, Tyler Courtney leads the way in the overall event standings entering the final night of competition Saturday, July 11.
The total amount of points accumulated by the Indianapolis, Ind. driver have given him the edge over Brady Bacon (-5), Justin Grant (-5), C.J. Leary (-8) and Chris Windom (-10).
The total combined points from Friday and Saturday’s time trials, heat races and qualifiers will determine the Saturday night A, B, C, D-Main lineups. The top-18 in points will be locked into the A-Main. Those who are 19-36 (next 18) in points will determine the semi-feature lineup, while those ranking 37-54 (next 18) in points will determine the C-Main starting lineup.
The Brandt Corn Belt Nationals continue Saturday, July 11 with the pit gate opening at Noon Central time for trailer parking. Sign-in commences at 3pm with draw closing at 5:45pm. The drivers meeting takes place at 6pm followed by engine warm up at 6:15pm with hot laps starting at 6:45pm with the rest of the program following thereafter.
Spectator tickets for the Brandt Corn Belt Nationals are available at www.knoxvilleraceway.net or by calling the Knoxville Raceway ticket office at 641-842-5431. Tickets start at $25 for adults on Thursday and $30 for Saturday.
