SHERRELL SCORES AT CREEK COUNTY
Sapulpa, Oklahoma (July 26, 2019)………Matt Sherrell scored his first victory of the USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma season on Friday night at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.
Ty Hulsey (Owasso, Okla.) led the first 19 laps of the feature before fellow Owasso native Sherrell assumed control of the race on the 20th circuit where he’d remain for the remaining 11 laps to earn the win over Andrew Deal (Caney, Kans.), Brett Wilson (Coweta, Okla.) and Danny Smith (Sand Springs, Okla.) with Hulsey rounding out the top-five.
