USACs 4TH VISIT TO FIRST STATE SLATED SATURDAY
Delmar, Delaware………USAC’s last visit to Delaware was 48 years ago when A.J. Foyt won a 1970 Stock Car race at Dover Downs. That hiatus ends Saturday when the USAC East Coast Sprints compete at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar.
Steven Drevicki of Reading, Pa. leads the series to Saturday’s race, 33-points ahead of runner-up Joey Biasi of Mary D, Pa. Eddie Strada of Lake Ariel, Pa. stands third, 58 points behind Drevicki.
Drevicki and Biasi are the only drivers with “top-10” finishes in all six races held so far in this inaugural season. Drevicki has a pair of wins but has been second the last three races. Biasi is the most recent series winner, while Ryan Godown, Coleman Gulick and Strada are the other previous winners.
Gates open at 5:00pm, drivers meeting: at 6:15pm, cars on track at 7:00pm and racing starts at 7:30pm. Adult GA tickets are $18.00, kids 13 & under GA is FREE! Adult pit passes are $30.00, kids 13 & under pit passes are $5.00 and kids 6 & under pit passes are FREE!
