BACON LEADS PROSOURCE FAST TIME CHALLENGE INTO SEASON FINALE AT TURKEY NIGHT
With one final race left in 2016 season, Brady Bacon continues to lead the way in the ProSource Fast Time Award Challenge with seven fast qualifying awards garnered throughout USAC’s Silver Crown, Sprint Car and Midget seasons.
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Bacon, who was recently-crowned as the 2016 USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car champion, is the lone driver this season to record fast qualifying times in all three national divisions.
With six fast qualifying times, Chase Stockon is the only other driver eligible to win the Fast Time Challenge. However, at press time, he has no ride for the November 24 “Turkey Night Grand Prix” USAC National and Western States Midget event at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway.
Bacon will be competing in “Turkey Night” aboard the FMR/Beast/Toyota number 76m, a car in which he was fast qualifier three times this season: Putnamville, Indiana’s Lincoln Park Speedway, Fairbury, Nebraska’s Jefferson County Speedway and Solomon Valley Raceway in Beloit, Kansas.
