JO KING, 86

Joanna King, who served as bookkeeper and comptroller for 23 years for USAC in its formative years and most recently was involved as treasurer of the Indianapolis 500 Oldtimers Club, has passed away September 22 at the age of 86. In 1981 she received the coveted "Woman Behind the Scenes in Racing" Award.
