RAINS FORCE TULARE SPRINT/MIDGET CANCELLATION

Tulare, CA........Rains and inclement weather in central California have forced cancellation of Saturday's scheduled USAC West Coast Sprint and USAC Western Midget "doubleheader" at the Merle Stone Chevrolet Thunderbowl Raceway. The West Coast Sprints resume action April 23 at Tulare, while the Western Midgets now eye the April 30 race at Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway.
