3-RACE KING OF THE WING MIDWEST SWING JUNE 26-28;
WEATHER HALTS 2 AUTO VALUE SPRINTS
Weather intervened last week to force cancellation of a pair of USAC Auto Value Bumper-to-Bumper Sprint races at Toledo, Ohio (Friday) and Clio, Mich. (Saturday).
The next USAC winged Sprint events are the June 26-28 three-race swing for the King of the Wing and Auto Value series. Beginning on Friday, June 26, Toledo (Ohio) Speedway is the venue. Saturday’s (June 27) race is at Winchester (Ind.) Speedway and Sunday’s race is at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway.
Bobby Santos leads the King of the Wing standings and Kyle Edwards sits atop the Auto Value points entering the three-race swing. The June 27 event will mark USAC’s first appearance at Winchester in four years.
