Northeast Regional Dirt Series Announced for 2015
Over the past few years the USAC .25 Midget dirt program has seen extensive growth as five dirt quarter midget clubs started operating under the USAC banner. The growth in the northeast has now spread to the midwest where more and more families are excited to participate in USAC’s prestigious Dirt Triple Crown National Championship Series. With that being said Cerro Gordo Speedway in Cerro Gordo, IL along with Little Eldora Speedway in Rossbuhg, OH will join the Montgomery Country Quarter Midget Club located in Phoenixville, PA and the club located in Hagerstown, MD as the host venues for the 2015 USAC .25 Midget Dirt Triple Crown National Championship Series. A driver’s best three out of four race finishes per class will determine their national championship point standings. The race at Eldora takes place as part of 4-Crown weekend and really gives the series an event like atmosphere for families participating in the series to attend.
With the Dirt Triple Crown Series expanding USAC would like to ensure that each club in the Northeast region is able to benefit with a large dirt event each year. This has led to the introduction of the Northeast Regional Dirt Series. It will debut in 2015. This series aims to offer an alternative for those families wishing to participate in a large event without traveling a long distance from home. The events held in Phoenixville, PA and Hagerstown, MD will award duel points (national and regional). More details on the 2015 USAC .25 Midget Northeast Dirt Regional Series will be announced in the coming weeks.
