WILL HIGHLIGHT 2009 USAC .25 MIDGET CALENDAR
The Inaugural ".25 Midget Nationals" at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway July 8-11, 2009 will highlight USAC's inaugural season of .25 Midget Racing. The events consists of three days of racing on a temporary course constructed in the garage-area at IMS, with Wednesday, July 8 utilized as "move-in" day.
Qualifying races to ensure eligibility to compete in the "USAC .25 Midget Nationals" are scheduled in Tampa Bay, Fla., Las Vegas, Nev. and Toledo, Ohio with USAC .25 Midget licenses required for participation.
The event will be streamed live to a worldwide audience on USACracing.com and admission to the public is free. In all, hundreds of drivers ages 5-17 from across America are expected to compete. An extravagant trophy presentation will conclude the activities following the final A-Main.

These 1/4-scale Midget race cars feature four-wheel independent suspension and full roll cages, with seat belts and shoulder harnesses mandatory.
