LAS VEGAS, TAMPA BAY & MIAMI VALLEY LATEST CLUBS TO ALIGN WITH USAC'S .25 MIDGET PROGRAM
The United States Auto Club's .25 Midget Racing program has accelerated with the announcement of the addition of three more clubs to its family of members.
Closely following the Kokomo Quarter Midget Club's initial USAC announcement, quarter midget clubs in Nevada, Florida and Ohio have also joined the .25 Midget family, namely the Las Vegas Quarter Midget Racing Association, the Miami Valley Quarter Midget Racing Association and the Tampa Bay Quarter Midget Racing Association.
The Las Vegas club competes at LVMS, while the Tampa Bay cub competes on a paved oval located eight miles east of Apollo Beach, Fla. at the Ambassador Racing School in Balm, Fla. The Miami Valley club competes on a paved oval at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio.
"We welcome Miami Valley President Don Fleming, Tampa Bay owners the Garcia Family, and Las Vegas President Michael Turner and their club members to USAC," said USAC Developmental Director James Spink. "We are delighted to include them in our family and look forward to a successful and prosperous future for them under the USAC banner. This is a start to great things for the USAC .25 midget program."
Las Vegas club President Michael Turner states, "It's been a pleasure to work with the group at USAC. We're excited for what their program can bring to the racers in our club."
