HOGG LEADS CLASSIC SPRINTS TO WATSONVILLE FRIDAY
Shauna Hogg of Citrus Heights, Calif. sits atop the USAC Western Classic Sprint Car standings entering Friday night’s events at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, Calif.
Hogg is 12 points ahead of eight-time USAC racing champion Tony Hunt. She has a pair of fourths and a sixth in five series starts to date.
Hunt’s 2012 performances include a victory at Madera (Calif.) Speedway.
The USAC Mopar Western Midgets are also part of Friday night’s racing program at the quarter-mile dirt oval.
