WEATHER FORCES "THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER" CANCELLATION
Indianapolis, IN.........Threatening weather and forecasts for imminent rain which would preclude conducting Thursday night's USAC Pavement Sprint race at Lucas Oil Raceway have conspired to force cancellation of the event. The USAC AMSOIL National Sprint cars will be in action Saturday in the "4-Crown Nationals" program at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
