RE: SATURDAY – April 9, 2011


 


Due the overnight fog, continuing mist, cool temperatures and heavy rains during the week, the racing surface at Eldora Speedway cannot tolerate any additional moisture.   We are watching the weather very closely – IF it would rain any more this morning or afternoon, for the safety of the drivers, we will have to cancel tonight’s racing program.   All updates will be posted on our website www.eldoraspeedway.com.


 


Here are the scenarios we are facing –


 


IF THERE IS NO RAIN – postponed program from last evening will continue, immediately following hot laps at 6:00 and then pick up the regularly scheduled program.  Anyone holding an admission ticket from April 8 will receive a $5 discount on tonight’s event, or if unable to return this evening, that discount will be available through October 9, 2011 at any selected event.   Children and Teen tickets from last evening will be exchanged for a free ticket.


 


IF THERE IS RAIN BEFORE WE OPEN– the program will be considered a rain out and the value of the ticket or pit pass from April 8 will be honored at any remaining event at Eldora Speedway through October 9, 2011.
