Kokomo has long been a USAC mainstay, hosting races since USAC’s inaugural season in 1956. Rich Vogler won USAC’s first Sprint race at Kokomo in 1982 and the ensuing 30 years have produced 18 different winner, including this year’s first-time winner Hunter Schuerenberg.
