“An American Revolution” is underway and it will drive this year’s most spectacular “traditional” Sprint car series as Chevrolet becomes the title sponsor for this year’s Chevrolet “Indiana Sprint Week” presented by Fatheadz, featuring the stars and cars of USAC.

The eight-race series debuts at the newly-revamped Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway July 9 and visits six Hoosier dirt tracks in 11 nights, offering race fans the most competitive motorsports entertainment in the country. Lawrenceburg hosts races July 9 and 10, while Gas City hosts races July 11 and 12. Kokomo is the July 13 venue, while the series concludes with races July 17 at Boswell (Kamp Motor Speedway), July 18 at Bloomington and July 19 at Haubstadt (Tri-State Speedway).

Chevrolet has been a dominant engine in “traditional” Sprint car racing forever and the company’s involvement in Indiana Sprint Week extends its commitment to America’s short-track motorsports program, with a $10,000 point fund posted for top series participants.

The Indiana Sprint Week opener at Lawrenceburg will showcase the track’s brand-new 1/3-mile configuration, including numerous facility improvements and an exciting new track contour.
