THE BAND - SOCIETY RED TO PLAY DURING USAC’S “BUBBA ARMY SPRINT NATIONALS”

Society Red, a Jacksonville, Florida band which in one year has carved its own niche in the American music industry on its way up the ladder of success, is slated to perform on Saturday night, February 19, as part of USAC’s “Bubba Army Sprint Nationals” racing program at Ocala (Fla.) Speedway.

Described as a commercial ready rock group resembling a combination of Guns and Roses and the Foo Fighters, the band sports a formula of platinum song writing and experience, creating an explosive show which has attracted a dedicated audience of fans.

“This added bonus will certainly make this series of races a destination for race fans in Florida for the Daytona experience and its surrounding activities,” says newly-appointed USAC Competition Director Dave Brzozowski. “It’ll be a great way to kick-start the 2011 racing season.”

The band includes front men Damien Starkey (es Burn Season), guitarists Paul Phillips (ex Operator for Puddle of Mudd) and Dizzi Devereux, bassist Brad Stewart (ex Shinedown) and drummer Brad Moxey.

The “Bubba Army Sprint Nationals” will showcase the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series in three consecutive nights of heart-stopping action on Ocala’s D-shaped 3/8-mile dirt oval.
