SWANSONS 1-2 IN MADERA SPRINTS

Madera, CA…….Kody and Tanner Swanson of Kingsburg, Calif. continued their 2009 racing success at the Madera Speedway Saturday night, taking the top two spots in the 50-lap USAC Western Sprint Car feature at the one-third mile paved oval. Kody passed Davey Hamilton on lap seven and led the rest of the way for the win in the TK Motorsports entry, while Tanner took second in the team car. JoJo Helberg was third, ahead of Tony Hunt and Brian McClish. Tanner was the fastest qualifier.
