STIDHAM ON TOP AGAIN AT SANTA MARIA; EXTENDS 360 LEAD

Santa Maria, CA…….USAC West Coast 350 Sprint Car point leader Craig Stidham led the final five laps on Saturday night’s 30-lap feature at the Santa Maria Speedway and emerged with a 69-point lead over Peter Murphy in tne new series standings as a result. Stidham trailed Jace VanderWeerd for the first 25 laps, then put his Brad Johnson Trucking/KRC Safety Maxim/Downing into the lead to beat Murphy, VanderWeerd, Davey Pombo and Justyne Hamblin. Stidham also posted the fastest qualifying time.
