ROTONDO WEIRICH JUMPS ON BOARD AT MERCER

Rotondo Weirich, a specialty contractor that produces high quality, prefinished, concrete housing modules, has jumped on board as the Title sponsor for Saturday night's (June 6) "Eastern Storm" USAC National Sprint Car race at Mercer (Pa.) Raceway Park.


 


Defending USAC National Sprint Car champion Jerry Coons Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., among favorites for Saturday's race, won the 2008 USAC Silver Crown championship driving for the Rotondo Weirich team, completing his career USAC "Triple Crown." Coons competes for the Dynamics, Inc. Sprint car team in the National Sprint Car series.


 


Over the past decade, RW, headqaurtered in Lederach, Pa., has melded the qualities of a plant-based precast operation with that of an onsite contractor to become the only company that mobilizes the entire production and finishing processes to the project site. Their success with "on-site" production shows in the nearly 55,000 modules they have produced for projects located throughout the United States and internationally.


 


The Mercer race concludes this year's "Eastern Storm" Sprint Tour, which includes races at Bechtelsville, Pa. June 2, Williams Grove, Pa. June 3 and Minersville, Pa. June 4.
