BACON TAKES OVER USAC EASTERN STORM POINTS LEAD ENTERING ACTION TRACK FINALE

Kutztown, Pennsylvania (June 16, 2024)………Brady Bacon has moved to the top of the USAC Eastern Storm point standings after capturing Saturday night’s penultimate round at Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway.

Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) enters Sunday night’s Action Track USA Eastern Storm finale on June 16 with a 12-point lead.  Mathematically, nine drivers remain in contention for the 2024 USAC Eastern Storm title.

Mitchel Moles (-12) sits second ahead of C.J. Leary (-21) in third, Justin Grant (-48) fourth and Daison Pursley (-49) rounding out the top-five.  Robert Ballou (-49) is sixth, Kevin Thomas Jr. (-53) seventh, Logan Seavey (-63) eighth and Briggs Danner (-66) ninth.

A maximum of 84 points are up for grabs for each driver in Sunday’s Action Track USA program.

Eastern Storm feature events this week have been won by Briggs Danner (Grandview Speedway), Brady Bacon (Bridgeport Motorsports Park), Logan Seavey (Big Diamond Speedway), Kevin Thomas Jr. (Williams Grove Speedway) and Brady Bacon (Port Royal Speedway).

On Sunday, June 16, at Action Track USA, pit gates open at 3pm Eastern and front gates at 4:30pm with the drivers meeting set for 5:40 and hot laps at 6:30pm.
