WITH FAST TIME, HARD WORK AND HARD CHARGER AWARDS
Buck & Betty Rice of ProSource Consultants in Grand Saline, Tex. have announced the posting of their popular Fast Time, Hard Work and Hard Charger Awards for this weekend's Budweiser Oval Nationals USAC National and Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint races at the Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway.
The three-night racing program will offer $1,650 in total Pro Source prizes to drivers and teams meeting the criteria established for the awards.
The "Fast Time" awards Thursday and Friday are $100 each and awarded to the driver. The "Hard Work Awards" are $150 each Thursday and Friday and $250 Saturday and go to the car/team posting the slowest qualifying time which earns a transfer to the feature by qualifying through the heat races or semi. These awards are not intended for provisional starters or race organizer options. The Hard Charger awards go to the driver passing the most cars in the feature event from original starting position to official finish. Thursday and Friday's Hard Chargers receive $200 each and Saturday's gets $500.
