PIEROVICH, SARNA & BOWMAN TOP TRACY FEATURES

Tracy, CA……..Scott Pierovich of Alamo, Calif., C.J. Sarna of Palm Desert, Calif. and Alex Bowman of Tucson, Ariz. captured USAC feature events Saturday at Altamont Motorsports Park. Pierovich led the final 22 laps of the 30-lap Western Sprint race to record his first win inn the series in the Eibach Springs Eagle/Chevy. He was trailed by Eric Humphries, Brian McClish, Tanner Swanson and Bobby Santos III. Tony Hunt led the first eight laps but finished eighth. Sarna piloted the K & N Filters/Surf City Backhoe Spike/Van Dyne Mopar to victory in the 20-lap Western Midget race, leading all 20 laps to beat series point leader Nic Faas, Shane Golobic, Michael Faccinto and Pierovich. Bowman passed Brendan Langlois on lap 20 and led the final 11 laps to win the California Pavement Ford Focus race over Bobby Santos III, Langlois, Ian Miille and Garret Peterson. Langlois led the first 19 laps.
