USAC SILVER CROWN CHAMP CAR SERIES FORMAT
Race format may be altered for special events or at the discretion of the chief steward.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) laps to be run consecutively with the fastest lap counting as the official qualifying time. Top-16 fastest on time will be locked into the feature.
QUALIFYING RACE:
If needed. 12 laps. Top-8 finishers transfer to the feature where they will occupy rows 9, 10, 11 & 12 in order of how they finished in the qualifying race.
FEATURE EVENT:
100 laps. 24 starters. Starting lineup determined by qualifying, starting straight up, followed by the qualifying race transfers, starting in the order of their finish.
