USAC is saddened to learn of the January 1 death of Kenny Lay, the 1970 USAC National Sprint Car Champion car owner. A 19-time feature winner with his Lay’s Transmission specials, Kenny shared in the glory of the “Larry & Gary Show” as Larry Dickson piloted his car to the 1970 title. We extend our condolences to the entire Lay family and to his many friends in the sport.
