KALAMAZOO SPRINT VICTORY CAPS WEEKEND SWEEP FOR SANTOS

Kalamazoo, MI…….Bobby Santos III of Franklin, Mass. capped a great weekend of USAC racing by winning Saturday night’s 40-lap National Sprint race at Kalamazoo Speedway. Santos also won Friday’s 30-lap USAC Mopar National Midget race at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. Santos caught Tracy Hines on lap 25 and led the final 16 laps in his Santos Motorsports Beast/Gaerte. Jerry Coons Jr. finished second ahead of Hines, Cole Whitt and Bobby East. Dave Darland finished seventh and now leads Levi Jones, who finished sixth, by just two points in the new series standings.
