JONES EXTENDS INDIANA SPRINT WEEK LEAD WITH KOKOMO VICTORY

 


Kokomo, IN……..Levi Jones has a 32-point Indiana Sprint Week lead after Sunday night’s victory at the Kokomo Speedway. Jones, of Olney, Ill, took the low road to get by Jerry Coons Jr. on a restart at lap 19 and led the final 12 laps to post his fourth career ISW win in the Tony Stewart Racing STP/Bass Pro Shops Maxim/Kistler Chevy. Jones will carry his 32-point lead over Brady Short into next Wednesday night’s race at the Terre Haute Action Track. Short finished second ahead of Chris Windom, Shane Cottle and Coons. Windom led the first 10 laps of the feature, then Coons led for eight laps before yielding to Jones.
