LAMB CHOPS ‘EM UP IN RADICAL MIDGET GO AT HAVASU 95

Lake Havasu, Arizona (November 11, 2022)………Chris Lamb was the class of the field on Friday night at Arizona’s Havasu 95 Speedway.

The Colfax, N.C. native went coast-to-coast to pick up the win after taking over the lead from Dakoda Armstrong on lap 32 of the 50-lapper featuring the penultimate points race of the season for the USAC Radical SpeeD2 Midgets.

Friday’s race was also a non-points special event for the USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midgets.

Lamb led the final 19 laps to earn his 68th overall USAC sanctioned feature victory, which ranks 17th all-time in terms of wins across the board in all activity within the United States Auto Club since its inception in 1956.

Fast qualifier Kyle Tellstrom (Boise, Idaho) finished a distant second to Lamb while also increasing his Radical point lead to 60 entering Saturday’s finale at Havasu 95.

Dakoda Armstrong (New Castle, Ind.) scored a third place result and recorded the quickest lap in series history at the track on lap six of the main event when he turned a 14.270 second lap.

USAC Eastern champion Hunter Wise (Allentown, Pa.) finished fourth with A.J. Luttmer (Salt Lake City, Utah) rounding out the top-10.
