The Indianapolis Motor Speedway once again is extending its annual credential courtesy to top USAC drivers and car entrants, allowing them access to the garage and pit area at IMS during the month of May leading up to the May 24 Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. As in the past, the top-10 drivers and car entrants in the previous year’s USAC National racing series point standings will have access to the credentials. The credentials will be available for pickup at the IMS Client Service Department, located in the IMS Administration Building at the northeast corner of Georgetown Road and 16th Street. Credential distribution for the 2009 Indianapolis 500 begins on Monday, April 20. This courtesy has been an annual bonus to top USAC drivers and car entrants and those wishing to take advantage of this unique opportunity are requested to bring a current photo i.d.
