GRANT LEADS INDIANA SPRINT WEEK TITLE RACE TO SATURDAY’S FINALE AT TRI-STATE

Haubstadt, Indiana (July 30, 2022)………With five top-five finishes in five starts, Justin Grant controls the USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week standings entering Saturday night’s series finale on July 30 at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt.
Grant (Ione, Calif.) has won once, finished second twice and grabbed a fifth in his most recent run Thursday night at Lincoln Park Speedway as he pursues his career Indiana Sprint Week crown.
Technically, five drivers remain mathematically eligible entering the night with a maximum of 84 points possible (6 for fast qualifying time, 8 for a heat race win and 70 for a feature victory).
The five contenders for the Indiana Sprint Week are Grant along with Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Brady Bacon (-49), Greenfield, Indiana’s C.J. Leary (-53), Fort Branch, Indiana’s Chase Stockon (-70) and Raisin City, California’s Mitchel Moles (-81).
A $23,000 total purse is on the line for the top-eight in the final standings of the eight-race tour throughout the Hoosier state. The ISW champion will collect a $10,000 reward. A payout of $5,000 goes to second, $2,500 for third, $1,500 for fourth, $1,250 for fifth, $1,100 for sixth, $900 for seventh and $750 for eighth.
USAC Indiana Sprint Week resumes Saturday, July 30, with the seventh and final round at Tri-State Speedway featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship along with the Midwest Mini Sprint Association.
Pits open at 3pm Central, grandstands at 4pm, drivers meeting at 5pm and hot laps at 5:30pm.
Adult general admission tickets are $30, students (ages 13-18) $20 & children 12 and under free. Pit passes are $30 for members & $35 for non-members.
