DENNEY RUNS WINNING STREAK TO 3 IN MIDWEST THUNDER MIDGETS AT CIRCUS CITY

Peru, Indiana (July 31, 2021)………Jacob Denney finished his weekend undefeated in USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget competition by scoring his second victory in as many nights on Saturday at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana.

Overall, Saturday marked the Galloway, Ohio driver’s third consecutive win with the series dating back to July 10 at Atomic Speedway in Ohio, then again last Friday at Indiana’s Gas City I-69 Speedway.

Denney took to the top side of Circus City’s 1/8-mile to take the point from Chett Gehrke (Broken Arrow, Okla.) 10 laps from the finish of the 30-lap feature.

FEATURE LAP LEADERS: Laps 1-6 Ian Creager, Laps 6-11 Bryce Massingill, Laps 12-20 Chett Gehrke, Laps 21-30 Jacob Denney.

Among the four different race leaders were Ian Creager (Covington, Ohio), who led the opening six before Bryce Massingill took control between laps seven and 11, the Gehrke laps 12-20 while Denney brought the Team Taylor car home to victory, leading laps 21-30.
