DARLAND TAKES ISW OPENER AT LAWRENCEBURG

 


Lawrenceburg, IN……..Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind. scored a record 14th Indiana Sprint Week feature victory Friday night in the 2010 ISW opener at the Lawrenceburg Speedway. Darland took the lead when John Memmer blew an engine on lap 25 and Dave led the final six laps in his Pallet Builders/Reynolds Racing DRC/Claxton to beat Brady Short, Bobby East, Levi Jones and Damion Gardner. Memmer, seeking his first USAC National victory, led the first 24 laps before retiring from the race. Justin Grant was the night’s fastest qualifier. Indiana Sprint Week continues Saturday night at Gas City I-69 Speedway.
