SPENCER 3-FOR-4 AT THE PAS IN 2011

 


Mike Spencer of Temecula, Calif. is back on top of the 2011 AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint car standings after scoring his third Perris Auto Speedway victory of the season Saturday night.


 


Spencer takes a 10-point lead over Matt Mitchell into a July 30 race at the half-mile dirt Perris oval.


 


Spencer led the final 24 laps of Saturday’s 30-lap race in his Madera Produce/Grubstake Mini Storage Maxim/Shaver. He passed Rip Williams on lap seven and led the rest of the way to beat Williams, Nic Faas, fast qualifier Ronnie Gardner and Danny Sheridan. Mitchell finished eighth in Saturday’s feature.
