COONS GRABS “DICK GAINES CLASSIC” AT LAWRENCEBURG

Lawrenceburg, IN…….Jerry Coons Jr. of Tucson, Ariz. passed Chad Boat on lap six and led the rest of the way to win Saturday night’s 40-lap “Dick Gaines Classic” USAC Special Event Sprint race at the Lawrenceburg Speedway. Coons piloted the Hoffman Auto Racing F5 Gaerte to the win over Dave Darland, Brady Short, Boat and Bobby East.
