BRIGGS BAGS MONTPELIER “THUNDER” VICTORY

Montpelier, IN……..Stratton Briggs of Anna, Ohio emerged the winner of Saturday night’s 25-lap USAC “Midwest Thunder” Speed2 Midget race at Montpelier Motor Speedway after Alex Watson’s car slowed on a restart at lap 23. Watson slipped to fifth in the finish behind runner-up Bill Dunham, Zach Guingrich and Jon Steed. Series leader Aaron Leffel finished eight.
