ILLINOIS, VERMONT AND NORTH CAROLINA ALL HOST SPEED2 RACES SATURDAY

USAC’s Engler IMRA, DMA and Eastern Speed2 Midgets all see action this week. Saturday races are slated at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill. (IMRA), Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. (DMA) and Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, N.C. (Eastern).

Point leaders entering this week’s races are Jessica Bean (Eastern), Jason Goff (DMA) and Andy Baugh (IMRA).

Baugh earned his third victory of the 2018 Engler IMRA season Saturday night, leading the final two laps of the 20-lap race at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill. Robby McQuinn, who relinquished the lead to Baugh on lap 19, finished second ahead of Shane Morgan, Gedd Ross and Blake Buchholz.

This Saturday’s Spoon River race is “Kids Candy Dash” night.
