USAC NOW 600 COASTAL CLASH PRESENTED BY SOUTHERN PACIFIC FARMS

With the USAC NOW 600 Coastal Clash a couple weeks away, we are pleased to announce that we have  secured a sponsorship through Southern Pacific Farms and www.onefasttee.com to offer $500 to the non-wing champion of the series and $250 to the restricted champion of the series. The series will pay top-three in points that are USAC members.

“We are extremely excited about the series and look forward to racing on the coast at Ventura and Santa Maria,” Series Director, Doug Lockwood said. “This is all about having fun and giving back to the drivers.  I can't thank Larry Moles from Southern Pacific Farms and Jim Gardner from www.onefasttee.com enough for their support in this new series.”

In its first year of existence, the USAC NOW 600 Coastal Clash will run five races between Ventura Raceway and Santa Maria Raceway for the non-wing 600s and Restricted 600s. Those dates will be: May 6 at Santa Maria, June 3 at Ventura, June 17 at Santa Maria, July 8 at Ventura and October 7 at Santa Maria.

“It is a new series that we are all really excited about,” Lockwood added. “Micros have been huge in California for years, and we are hoping the USAC sanction brings more notoriety to the class, and with this series counting for points in the National championship where the non-wing National champion will get a Midget opportunity, we are hoping that it helps the class continue to grow.”
