USAC MICRO SPRINTS - 13th Round at Limerock Speedway

In USAC Micro Sprint action last weekend at Limerock Speedway in Caledonia, New York, Jack Lathan picked up the win in the 125 class.  In the 270 class, Scott Hawkins picked up the victory. Chris Stockham took home the trophy in the Non-Wing 600s while Jacob Star took top honors in the Super 600 class.

This Saturday night, August 6th, Limerock Speedway will be back in action for round 14 of the 2016 season with the Super 600s, Non-Wing 600s, 270s and 125s.  As the season winds down at 1/8-mile dirt oval, the intensity will be paramount for drivers in each division as they battle for the championship.

 

USAC MICRO SPRINTS - 7th Round at Dixon Speedway

The 1/5-mile dirt oval Dixon (Calif.) Speedway hosted its seventh points-race of the 2016 USAC Micro Sprint season.

Dylan Bloomfield scored the victory in the Junior sprint class.  The 250 class saw Kylee Porath collect the first-place trophy.  Garth Kaisner bested a field of 18 cars to win the Restricted 600 feature.  The Non-Wing 600 win went to Blake McGourty and the Super 600 class saw Michael Faccinto find victory lane after starting deep in the field.

Dixon Speedway will be back in action for round eight of the season on Saturday, August 13th.

USAC MICRO SPRINTS LAND SPONSOR FOR RESTRICTED CLASS

This week, the USAC Micro Sprint series is pleased to announce a partnership with www.lightuptheworldbeverages.com – a company that manufactures customized water bottles with built-in lights and unique labels.

“We look forward to the opportunity of working with USAC and kids coming up through the USAC Micro Sprint program,” USAC Midget champion and Light Up the World Beverage’s Darren Hagen said.  “When talking with series director Doug Lockwood, it was very appealing to me to want to help out the USAC Micro Series and work with young racers.”

The champion will receive $300 and 40 customized water bottles. Second place will receive $200 and 30 customized water bottles. Third place will receive $100 and 20 customized bottles. One random driver will also receive $50 and 20 customized bottles.
