“FALL CLASSIC” HPDs AT LVMS BULLRING THIS WEEKEND;

LAMB SWEEPS 2 ACE VICTORIES; LAKE HAVASU CANCELLED

The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts this weekend’s “Fall Classic” and the USAC Western HPD Midgets compete on both Friday and Saturday. It’s the penultimate weekend for the series which returns to LVMS’ Bullring November 21.

Cody Jessop (overall) and Dylan Nobile (pavement) are the respective point leaders entering the Las Vegas program. Nobile has won three of the previous four HPD races at the Bullring this year. Dezel West was the other feature winner.

Eastern HPD Midget leader Chris Lamb of Colfax, N.C. swept a pair of victories at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. over the past weekend. He passed Jessica Bean on lap 21 Saturday and led the final 15 laps to beat Bean, Andrew Layser, Jake Nelke and Matt Lundstrom. On Sunday, he led all 35 laps to beat Dillon Silverman, Lundstrom, Kyle Craker and Nelke.

The Eastern series heads for Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, S.C. October 31.
