LOVE CONQUERS ALL ON VALENTINES WEEKEND AT KERN COUNTY

Bakersfield, CA……..Duke Love of Redwood City, Calif. won Sunday afternoon’s 25-lap HPD USAC Midget “exhibition” race at the brand new Kern County Raceway Park. Love trailed Shawn Buckley for seven laps, then led the last 18 for the victory over Buckley, Toni Breidinger, Annie Breidinger and Cody Jessop. Jessop was the fastest qualifier. The HPD Western Pavement points schedule resumes March 15 with the “J.W. Mitchell Spring Classic” at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
