23 WASHINGTON HPD MIDGET DATES RELEASED

The 2014 USAC HPD Washington Midget calendar includes 23 events, six of which will serve as “exhibition” races at Deming Speedway. The series kicks off at Deming May 2 and the opening points race unfolds the next night at Skagit Speedway in Alger.

A total of five races are slated at Skagit, while Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma will host 10 events, including the series finale September 27. Races are also scheduled at Sunset Speedway in Banks, Oregon and Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Defending champion of the Washington series is Chase Goetz of Snohomish, Wash., who captured a remarkable 13 wins in 16 starts last season.
