WESTERN HPD IGNITE "DOUBLE" AT LVMS

Bryant Dawson of Phoenix, Ariz. enters this weekend’s 2013 USAC HPD Western Ignite Pavement Midget doubleheader at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring with a 44-point lead over Jarid Blondel. Racing is slated both Friday and Saturday nights.

Dawson and Blondel account for all five LVMS feature wins the season. Dawson has five wins and three seconds in the eight Western pavement races, while Blondel has two wins, two seconds, a third and two fourths.

Blondel leads the overall Western HPD Ignite standings by 152 points entering this weekend’s events. The final Western Pavement event is slated November 16 at LVMS, following a November 9 date at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
